    Google's Computer Science Summer Institute (CSSI) is a three-week introduction to computer science for graduating high school seniors with a passion for technology.It's an intensive, interactive, hands-on and fun program that seeks to inspire the tech leaders and innovators of tomorrow by supporting the study of computer science, software engineering and other closely related subjects.

    NASA offers a wide variety of Internships and Fellowships, NASA Internships are educational hands-on opportunities that provide unique NASA-related research and operational experiences for high school, undergraduate and graduate students as well as educators.

    Spring internship applications are accepted: 06/02/2016 - 10/17/2016

    Summer internship applications are accepted: 11/10/2015 - 03/01/2016

    Year-long internship applications are accepted at any time.

They have a wide variety of opportunities that place interns throughout the Smithsonian. You can find specific programs offered by various units in your field of interest on their website.

    Facebook Summer Academy Externs will have the opportunity to learn about the day-to-day operations of one of the world’s leading social media networks by being part of a dynamic workforce. Externs will work closely with Facebook Mentors in their respective capacities to gain real-world work experience and on-the-job skills that will help propel them into successful careers.

    The wide variety of summer programs at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) provide an opportunity to spend a summer working at the NIH side-by-side with some of the leading scientists in the world, in an environment devoted exclusively to biomedical research.     The IC offers students a wide variety of excellent programs to get a jumpstart on a career in intelligence. You can choose programs from the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency or the National Geospatial-Intel Agency; whether you're a High School student, a College student or a College Graduate. Intelligence Careers offers Internships, Fellowships, Scholarships, Co-ops and Work Studies in every Academic Field.

    Most applications begin to be accepted on Sept. 1st of every year, depending on which program you're interested in.
